Service Description

The 24-hour ambulatory BP monitoring (ABPM) provides a continuous recording of your blood pressure throughout the day and night, offering a more accurate assessment than a single in-clinic reading. It helps detect hypertension, assess medication effectiveness, and identify blood pressure variations during daily activities and sleep. The ABPM device will be securely attached to your upper arm with a cuff connected to a small monitor worn on your waist/over the shoulder. It will automatically measure your blood pressure at regular intervals throughout the 24-hour period, after which you must return the device to the lab for data analysis and interpretation.
